When we were asked to text out the new Fuji GFX 50SII, we knew immediately that partnering with our buds over at Rawhide Cycles was an absolute must. Luckily, a recent chopper build of theirs had just won national acclaim and needed a little love for an upcoming publication in Chopper Magazine, so we leaned hard into colored lights and rippling velvet to create a spread of photos that bordered on smokers lounge and Terminator II.
Take a look at most camera test photography on the internet. It's not that interesting. The whole point with this shoot was to do something unexpected and out of the box for Fuji and DP Review. Something that would get people to stop and look at the beauty in the details. Rawhide's choppers are full of beautiful intentional details and the new GFX camera was perfect for bringing them into focus.
