Combining Forces on a Similar Mission:

To unite creative women an empower them to form meaningful relationships with one another.

This was something that instantly brought Isabel, Steph + Katelyn together within just a few weeks of knowing each other. They were all on the same page on creating a community unlike anything they've experienced before - something that felt comfortable and safe for new women to come into the space and feel empowered, meet new people, and be creative.

Trusting the Process + Getting Started

Knowing that there was a specific purpose and need to fulfill, CWC kicked off it's first event in July 2023 despite not having a long term plan and tons of structure. The goal was to lead with the focus of creating an approaching and inviting space for folks to gather and let the rest come naturally. After a year of monthly events, this same approach rings true for everything that CWC hosts and keeps the culture sustainable for creatives to feel comfortable and take the initiative to engage with new faces.

The Impact of Rare + Meaningful Community

Creating an inclusive space for women to meet and collaborate provides an opportunity to exist in an environment that removes competition and intimidation as a barrier to entry. This sets the foundation for more inviting collaboration that uplifts everyone involved and empowers them with knowledge and support.

A Growing Effort

Within it's first year CWC received an astonishing amount of support from the community. From business owners and creatives looking to host events and knowledge share, to leaders in the space offering their platform to echo CWC efforts. The involvement from so many different people highlights the importance of cultivating communities that encourage and invite more involvement.
